I think the best way to explain what and who the Rising Phoenix Foundation is, is to tell you about our Vision:

Rising Phoenix Foundation, A Foundation for Western spirituality was founded by David Goddard and other Initiates in Spring 2005 ce. It arose from the perceived need to make more available the authentic spiritual teachings that are the mystical heartof Western culture – and to play our part in initiating a spiritual renaissance in the First World consciousness.

Our name is taken from the alchemical symbol of immortality. The phoenix is associated with Enoch, the first human to transcend death. Rising in consciousness, Enoch was bathed by Divine fire and became the Archangel Metatron.

Rising Phoenix is dedicated to the service of God and the perfecting of Humanity. Service Rising Phoenix employs modern technology, to render spiritual teachings more accessible. We have full production facilities for both publishing and audio/visual material, in order that people can more easily receive the teachings in their own homes. 

The Foundation arranges classes and seminars internationally, so that people can receive the ‘mouth-to-ear’ teachings, and meet like-minded folk. Things to come We aim to establish a spiritual center where practitioners can make retreats. This would also be an esoteric educational facility; where future mages, alchemists and teachers will be trained.

About David Goddard:

An initiated Adept of the Western Spiritual Tradition, David has spent the last 3o years training students. As an Author of Sacred Magic of the Angels, Tower of Alchemy and Tree of Sapphires – David has travelled the world sharing Western Esoteric Wisdom.

David leads the Rising Phoenix Foundation group towards a shared vision of a better world for us all using the Western tradition to bring about personal transformation.
