Spiritual lesson from Japanese disaster

Dear Reader,

Recently I got this question from a Letters to Your Spirit Reader

“David, you often teach that – when we go through a crisis, instead of moaning: “Why is this happening TO me?” – we should be asking: “Why is this happening FOR me?” And then try to remain alert for the Universe’s answer. But, what can we learn from the devastation in Japan?”

Here’s my reply:

It has been said that, if the you knew the Angel of Death was coming for you, your life would suddenly become ‘magical’ – because you would then do all of the courageous, selfless things that you never dared do before.

I think we should learn 2 things. Firstly, to appreciate, and validate those whom we love now (so there are no regrets.) And secondly, to live a meaningful life – now!

May all our efforts manifest in Beauty,

David Goddard
